I’ve been enjoying this podcast for the last couple weeks and just thought I’d pass it on to all of you. The QI elves have started a podcast where they discuss the most interesting fact they discovered in the last week.
It’s not hilarious, but it is consistently interesting and a fun listen.

The show has really improved the more it has been on. It is now up to 21 episodes and they really are getting more entertaining to listen to. In the early episodes, they were having massive sound problems as well. When they laughed, it was way too loud and the actual talking was too quiet. That is fixed now and the show has improved a ton. They are fun, funny, and very interesting I recommend it to all. 
Thank you for bumping this. I somehow missed it the first time. This is exactly the sort of podcast that I love.
Some of these were fairly entertaining, but it drives me up the wall when the Australian guy says “Covernt Garden”.
Did you know that Google gives 13,000 results for “Covernt Garden”? I guess he’s not the only guy pronouncing it that way.
That guy, Dan Schreiber, clearly hasn’t lived in Australia for years and has travelled widely in his life, because his accent is really buggered up. It’s all over the place, and very little of it that’s left sounds Australian any more.
In fact Wikipedia says he was only here for 7 years, in his teens.

On the bright side, Google is only giving me 2,180 results for “Covernt Garden” now, so maybe things are improving.
