Non-American TV shows online?

All of the American over-the-air broadcast television networks have their own websites. And they web-broadcast some of their current shows online. I was thinking this would make it possible for people in other countries to watch American TV shows before they were broadcast in their own country. And then I had the revelation - I could theoretically reverse the process.

So are there any television networks in the UK or Australia or Canada or elsewhere that do web broadcasts of current television series?

Many of them, including the US ones, block IPs outside their own region.

I’m not very computer-savvy. I realized it was possible to identify individual online accounts by IP numbers but I didn’t know there were geographic identifiers in those numbers.

So, there are no “region-free” television sites?
