I really like Trappey’s cajun pepper sauce—it is milder than Tabasco and has more depth of flavor, not just naked heat.

An interesting group that has maintained its language is Portuguese immigrants in Massachusetts. I think that some of the smaller towns have more of this than Boston. I’m curious about this, but I can’t tell you much other than that I was curious about what language I was hearing and was told that it was Portuguese Portuguese–very different sounding from Brazilian Portuguese–and that the community was old and very cohesive.
