Is there any reason I need to feel like a rabid dog every time I brush my teeth? Does the foaming action somehow enhance the cleaning ability of the toothpaste or is it a secondary effect that comes with one of the cleaning/strengthening agents?
I know some children’s toothpastes claim to be non-foaming, but they don’t contain fluoride (and are they REALLY non-foaming?). I currently use Tom’s of Maine which doesn’t foam that much, but it does still foam. Is there such a thing as a non-foaming fluoride toothpaste?
