Non-German Lutherans/other Protestants, how well known are these dicta attributed to Martin Luther?

Mostly Presbyterian background. Never heardof any of it. Skeptical of all of it. Skeptical of much of what I read here.

Culturally Lutheran. #2 was commonly heard. But once I heard the “women are broad across the fundament” line, I became…culturally Lutheran. Hence, I’m here to answer this question early on a Sunday morning.

I was brought up Lutheran in the US, although we completely stopped going to church when I was about 13.

The apple tree quote seems vaguely familiar, and the others not at all.

Ex-Lutheran here in the US. I have a vague recollection of #2 or something approximating the idea that Luther stated that knowing the date of the Apocalypse would not change his behavior. I’ve never heard of the other.

Lapsed Lutheran, of German and Scandinavian descent.

I’ve heard #2 by word of mouth, and it is a sentiment I agree with. The others I had not read or heard.

Luther was big on farting, and does have an attributed quote on busting ass to drive the devil out of the room. It would probably drive everyone else out, too.
