That’s the Mundane Pointless Stuff I Must Share, that the questions seem to drift away before they get noticed. On the other forums, they stay for a couple of days even if no one replies. That makes for a better dialog.
Here, if you post at morning about something and come back after work to see if anyone answered, the thread is long gone.
If you want a thread to survive (without bumping it yourself), two important things, a snappy title which intrigues and an irresistable question. Of course that’s easier said than done, witness any of my plummeting threads.
