According to this article in the Yahoo Science section, environmentalists are in a pickle trying to find a way to remove nonnative frogs which are a threat to the ecosystem on Isabel Island, the largest island in the Galapagos chain. They are going to try caffine, among other solutions. Caffine is supposed to disrupt their nervous systems.
What I think will happen is that they will have a bunch of hopped up frogs swarming to the boats so they can get to the local Starbucks for their next fix.
The frogs are supposed to have arrived by ships bringing supplies to researchers, and because there are no predators there, are thriving and driving out native species.
