You skipped the part where Thor and Odin laughed their asses off at Loki’s predicament. Really makes the story, by putting the Gods of Legend in stark relief to their Marvel Comics reputations.

True. Although I think Neil Gaiman got Thor down pretty well in Sandman, when he’s trying to impress a chick by offering to show her his hammer – which gets bigger when he rubs it.

Thor’s never really come across as a guy who speaks in "Yea, verily"s. Although the addition of Kirby dots did smarten up his look quite a bit…
