Why the hell are we still there? Who are we protecting against? South Korea has a larger military, twice the population, and 30 times the GDP. South Korea could easily crush North Korea in any war, and the North Korea no longer has a willing back up.

Why do we continue to maintain a military presence when we have other areas that would have more use for the troops?

Also, the Korean war never ended. There’s an armistice, but no peace treaty was ever signed. To pull our troops out of there would be going back on our agreements.
