Plus compared to these North Korean horror shows American prisons look like bad hotels. I mean you’re unlikely to be tortured, beaten, starved experimented on or just shot for the hell of it whereas in North Korean camps that’s par for the course.

Last year I read every single book I could find out about N Korea escapees. They are a different brand of people in some ways. They have been raised so anti-family that like it says above, family is just competition.
Hell yeah I’d run and leave them behind. That way at least one of my benighted family might survive. And I’d encourage them to do the same.
