I looked up the word fugue (not the musical term) and found that it means a more extensive condition than I thought it did. I had thought it meant a temporary state of trance like seizure, sort of a passing of time unawares, but also not doing anything. (Fugue seems to mean that you do spend the time doing something just unaware of it afterward and unaware of who you are during it).
Anyway, is there a word for what I’m describing? I thought some there was a term for people who have small seizures, but without the body spasms or it being noticed readily by others. Maybe there is no such thing…“severe daydreaming without the dreaming”?
