Most of us have given you our opinion. I agree that life is uncertain & the money seems like a wise investment. If you’re so eager to get a vasectomy, why have you waited so long? Remember, vasectomies cost, too.
Your amusingly absolute certainty there won’t be future fetuses aside, find out what the CASH price of the shot is and set that aside or ask for help from family. Looking online I see it runs anywhere from $120 (at Planned Parenthood) to $170 and I’m willing to bet members of your families give enough of a damn to help w/ that amount.
I’m glad to see you say this baby’s doing fine so far; a third or fourth m/c is something my mind can’t comprehend coming back from, especially if I knew the last one was b/c my husband said we couldn’t afford a shot.
