Notarize this, you fucking bitch

Wait, does this mean that Roboto is actually the Emperor of the World?

If you were really just wanting to blow off steam, then you would write your rant, and be done with it. You would have it out of your system, and accomplished your goal. Whatever anyone had to say about it wouldn’t matter, it served its purpose.

But instead you are upset at the replies, so I can only guess you not just wanted to rant, but wanted sympathy or empathy. Perhaps hear stories of other similar complaints. If you were hoping for empathy, there is no guarantee you will get it here, but this might have been a better start:

*You know, one of the things I dislike most about my job is having to go to the bank upstairs from my company and have papers notorized for my boss. I don’t mind going up to the bank, it is just that I know when I ask to have something notorized, the woman who can do this will have to put everything else down she is working on and take care of me. I think she must be somewhat resentful that she has to do that. My boss is a major customer of this bank, having many accounts, so the bank employees have been instructed by the bank to drop what ever they are doing when he needs something notorized. And for all I know, he also gets many other special favors to keep him happy.

But what I wish the notory republic ladies would realize is I am just the messenger. It was not my policy to force them to stop in the middle of something else to wait on me. I can’t control when my boss feels he needs something notorized immediately. I know once interupted, they may have to start all over with what they were doing. But I really don’t see why they should take it out on me everytime. I am just doing what my boss has asked me to do, same as they are.

I have tried to be polite about it, realizing how much I would hate to be interupted when trying to do my job. I approach them with a smile, say, “Excuse me, I hate to bother you with this right now, I see you are busy, but he needs this done right away.”

And how do they react? They snatch the papers from my hand, bang open the drawer to get the stamp, all the time glaring at me. They don’t say a word, and when done they throw the papers back at me. I have tried to be nice, but I am so tired of this childish behavior. I dread having to go up there every time now. There are parts about every job I am sure employees don’t like. But most employees can still act professionally about it.

And since I can’t say it to her face . . . “FUCK YOU, YOU MISERABLE BITCH! My notary seal is a mushroom tattoo, and once I get licensed I’ll notarize your face you ignorant slob!”*

Now you still may get people telling you to give the poor ladies a break, but I would bet you get more people telling you their snotty bank employee stories, or stories of others having to deal with vendor’s employees lousy attitudes, giving you the empathy you must have been wanting.

If you really did just want to rant, well don’t read and then complain about the replies.

Well put, Grits.

I’m curious to see how Roboto replies.

I think you may have misspelled when.

Possibly if.

And Grits and Hard Toast, I hate to be a spelling Nazi, but it’snotAry, not notOry.
