'Nother Multistate Tax Question

First post. Possibly a stupid question. I’ll try to keep it short.

Live in New York, NY. Work in New Jersey. Have had money withheld for NJ state taxes, NY state taxes, and NY City taxes.

Am I getting screwed? Should I be getting all my NJ withholdings back when I file? Or do I just have to suck up the extra taxes because I work in one state and live in another?

You should be able to show NY that you paid NJ and not have to pay them any tax. Of course, you yankees have better ways of doing things so YMMV.
