Signs that say “No Smoking Is Permitted”
I’m sure what they mean is “Smoking Is Not Permitted” but what the signs says is that its OK not to smoke.
Oh yes, that’s a good one. And similarly, doors marked

The best one I ever saw was at a small part of a parking lot at a local casino here in vegas. You were supposed to drive through in the right lane, or go into the left lane for valet. People kept parking in the right lane, because they figured it was just another parking spot, so the casino put up a sign.
“NO STOPPING ANY TIME!”
The only problem was that they put the sign up at an intersection where through traffic was going in the other direction, so they also had to put up a stop sign. So the pole at the intersection had two signs, one above the other, reading…
“NO STOPPING ANY TIME!”
“STOP”
