That is exactly what her attorney had on some paperwork she sent ( Both myself and my new wife thought it seemed kind of odd ) , So i did what they said they wanted , all the paperwork had to be returned to her attorney once it was completed for their approval, Then the divorce was finalized and i got the divorce paperwork .

In any event - ‘they’ signed off on it and said you met the requirement - done deal.

Insuring your kids lives makes no sense. None at all. You do realize that you didn’t have to agree to everything they thought up. Sounds like you got taken to the cleaners in your divorce.

You need to re-read the thread. He misunderstood the divorce agreement. The policy was supposed to be on him not the kids. Cost-wise he probably made out better than if he had to put a policy on himself as an adult male vs 2 kiddie policies.
