Novels or movies about the empty nest?

I’m writing my dissertation on empty nest mothers, and I’d like to mention in passing some popular press books and/or movies about the empty nest. Problem is, I’m drawing a complete blank. This is possibly related to the fact that I’m in a Ph.D. program and don’t spend much time reading fiction or watching movies these days. Anyway. There are tons of books on the topic in the self-help department, but can you think of a novel or movie about the empty nest? Thanks!

P.S., this doesn’t count as asking for help with homework, does it? 'Cuz that would be really embarrassing.

First one that came to mind, though about a man rather than a woman, was About Schmidt. It’s not precisely on point, but I really liked it.

What Lies Beneath
Christmas With the Kranks
Failure to Launch touches on the subject.
Father of the Bride, which is not a true empty nest because the younger brother remains.
