November 7th Elections, who wins?

Well then. Looks like we’re going to need a changa in the Constitution. So’s Clinton can run one more time.

Well, it looks like Gore has the 2 biggest States (Bush has #3) "locked’, and it is very hard to lose an election if you get both NY & CA. I am gonna predict a close election (assuming no surprizes), with Gore leading with about 10 EC votes, over Bush (and the others will get none, of course), however the popular vote will be something about Gore 46%, Bush 44%. Gore will get a plurality, but not a majority of the popular vote.

2 recent polls have Gore leading by 3%, and Bush leading by 5%, but both within the “margin”.

I am leaning towards Gore, but Bush is not too bad, either.

Phil gives Daniel a gentle push in Dubya’s direction

I’d not thought about the Congressional elections. Silly me.

I think the Demos will take the House, but the Senate will stay the same.

If Bush takes the White House, I feel the Demos will take BOTH House and Senate back.

And what about the Infamous Zero Year Curse!! Reagan escaped it, just barely. Will Bush be able to escape it? Or Gore? Can we really deal with a Cheny or Liebermann presidency?

Bush, comfortably. Many posters seem to think that Bush will self destruct and yet noone has mentioned Gore’s awaiting implosion.

Remember the Budhist temple?
Remember “There is no controlling authority?”
Remember “I’m pround to call him my friend?”

The first time Gore mentions Cheney’s working for and receiving compensation from “big oil” he’ll get a reminder that one million dollars of Gore’s value is oil stock and that the Gore estate/trust will not disclose the value of it’s oil stock.

Then there’s this little e-mail mess. Many of these “lost” e-mails will find their way to the media prior to the election.
I think the gauntle that Gore must walk is much more slippery than the one walked by Bush.

IT WILL BE A CLOSE RACE…if none self-destruck, which is a definate possibility. Frankly for me, AG and now JL have done so many self reinventions I am no longer sure who they really are, LOL.

Whoops.

: locks door before Phil can leave, then nudges Daniel in the “right” direction. :

And of course “gauntle” should be “gauntlet”.

Will You be next?

I’ve been saying all along that it was Gore’s election to win or lose; now he’s gone and framed the contest, and his opponent, in the terms that best suit him. It ain’t over yet, but that gives him one hell of an edge, bigger than the 50-45 lead in this morning’s Washington Post-ABC poll yet reflects.

And damned if he hasn’t chosen to run on the issues. Gotta love the guy.
