I hate hate hate hate hate the birthstone for November. It is the worst of all the birthstones, IMO!
Today’s my birthday. I don’t think topaz/citrine is ugly, but it’s not as pretty as some of the other birthstones. (when I was a kid, I thought that was really unfair!) I kinda hate my birthday in general, though. I wish I were born in late spring–much nicer weather!
I once received a topaz ring for my birthday, but I seem to have lost it ;).
Damn, I wish all you people who “lost” their topazes had lost them near me. :mad:
