Some coworkers that are Musk fans are claiming this is all due to policy changes by Twitter, and Elon might not even know these people are being banned. I quoted Buffy Summers: “There are two things I don’t believe in: coincidence and leprechauns.”
It’s a mistake to think Elmo alone is pushing the ban-buttons.
But much like folks working for Criminal One, there may well be a whole batch of Musklets now working there who are gleefully banning whoever they notice in the belief that Dear Leader Elmo will notice and applaud / reward their “hardcore” initiative.
Apparently one of the banned journalists had tweeted out a statement from the LAPD that no police report has been filed about the alleged stalking of his kid.
Dude made up a fake stalker to try to get sympathy points and is throwing a tantrum because people are calling him on his lies.
I’m beginning to think that Elon Musk was not the brilliant businessman I thought he was. 
I had forgotten that Musk did that. So he’s been short some marbles for a while, i guess.

Elmo launched one of his “give me an excuse to do what I was already going to do anyway” polls asking if he should unban the journalists.
Except “unban them now” won, so now he’s pretending the poll was too confusing and needs a do-over.

Trump, I understand his cult. He projects alpha male toughness at all times. It’s false, an obvious veneer pasted over an unfillable black hole of emotional hunger, but he never lets the façade slip, and his minions appreciate that.
But Musk? The opposite of a confident alpha. Everything he does is desperately reactionary, whining and grasping and pouting. His self-promoted image as a techbro colossus has utterly disintegrated, and he’s scuttling rodentlike in the debris begging for shreds of respect.
The cadre of incels and qbots who need him to be a bulletproof titan of trolling are watching him embody a precisely antipodean role, and, yes, they’re abandoning him in droves (reddit.com/r/elonmusk is hilarious right now). It should be unanimous, though, and yet it’s not. Baffling.

Elon hopped into a Twitter Spaces voice chat earlier tonight, where one of the reporters he banned called him out on his lies.
He bailed after less than three minutes and has now shut down Twitter Spaces altogether.
… and now Spaces are gone.
Note that of the suspended journalists, many had nothing to do with the alleged doxxing. They were either reporting on the ElonJet story, or simply were critical of Elmo. And Elmo seems blissfully unaware – or is refusing to acknowledge – that his real-time flight data by default is public information whether he likes it or not. It has nothing to do with ElonJet. And as far as Elmo’s “safety” is concerned, that’s one of the reasons that ADS-B tracking exists in the first place – to improve the safety of everybody in the air. Which is why ADS-B out is mandatory in controlled airspace. If Elmo wasn’t an idiot, he would know all that. Also, if Elmo wasn’t an idiot, instead of persecuting the ElonJet kid, he would know that there’s a perfectly simple way to prevent public tracking of his plane.
Although the tail number is a useful ID, that isn’t what ADS-B transmitters broadcast. They are tracked through their unique ICAO aircraft address, a 24-bit number which is public information via the Civil Aviation Registry. Elmo’s Gulfstream 650ER, tail number N628TS, is assigned the ADS-B broadcast code A835AF, expressed in hex. It’s possible for purposes of privacy to request a temporary, private ICAO address from the FAA called a “PIA” - “Privacy ICAO Address” which is not recorded in the public registry. Problem solved. But Elmo, who is better at creating problems than solving them, apparently doesn’t know this, even though he owns the goddam $70 million plane.
As for Elmo’s free speech, there is so much “free speech” on Twitter now that at this rate Elmo will soon be the only one allowed to post. Well, maybe Elmo and a few sycophantic lackeys and QAnon hoodlums.
At this point I’m waiting for him to announce that global warming is a figment of the woke mind virus and he’s suspending all Tesla production in favor of a diesel-burning pickup truck called the Model D (get it because “d” is short for “dick” teehee I’m so naughty and clever).
The one good thing that might come out of Elmo buying Twitter is that the MAGA crowd might start buying Tesla’s to support him. Don’t know if that would offset the liberals abandoning the company, but I suspect it might (a lot of the lib’s having already purchased some form of EV, likely a Tesla).
Tesla is losing market share to less expensive EVs even as we speak. Things are definitely not looking up for Elmo.
