Now that Elon Musk has bought Twitter - now the Pit edition (Part 1)

Everyone should, and yet the Republican party is doing all they can to drive trans people from public life (and worse in many cases), prevent black people from voting, prevent young people from voting, throw poor people off assistance and health care, and much more.

This doesn’t jive with your belief that young software developers should debase themselves for a chance to work for someone the likes of Elon Musk. Sure seems like you’ve granted him special status.

The same person who keeps mentioning tribal politics driving dislike for Elmo: @Sam_Stone. Or to be generous, the strawmen he makes voices in his head.

So when Musk deliberately denies others their rights, you speak out against that travesty, right? Because free speech absolutism is absolute.

Narrator: He did not.

Ron DeFuhrer is launching his presidential campaign with a voice chat with Elmo.

Twitter repeatedly crashed on Wednesday as Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) was set to make his presidential announcement over Twitter Spaces with the site’s new owner Elon Musk…

Elonorama has probably stiffed the hamster chow provider.

Maybe he should have tried a more traditional venue:

Snerk.

I’m curious to find out from our resident simps why these crashes were actually a super smart plan all along. I figured the world’s greatest software developer could have handled this situation.

If I had to guess, I assume the talking point / lie will be something among the lines of no service could have supported such a massive audience.

Obviously he is making Twitter availability scarce which will increase the price the market will bear.

Blue check is now $9 ($12 on Apple)!

Agile Announcement!

The Washington Post has the Twitter glitch in the Tech section, but it’s currently the lead headline on the CNN website: **Twitter glitches overshadow DeSantis announcement **. Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving pair of redneck assholes!

Can we please now finally throw away that infantile Musk-worshipping nonsense about how firing eighty percent of the company and gutting the firm’s technical and operational knowledge base hasn’t seemed to impact the site’s level of functionality?

Looks like somebody just isn’t getting the 20000ft view

Couple stories I’m hearing:

  1. The offering was so incredibly popular that it mELtEd tHe sErVeR !!11!
  2. Also it was so popular with jealous haters that they DDoS attacked it, in which case it was obviously a psyop.

Elmo: “I call it ‘massive attention’.”

It sure is, Elmo. With headlines like these, politicians and influencers from all over will be flocking to Twitter to make their major announcements!

It’s such great news, in fact, that Elmo has probably fired another 100 employees over this.
