This is just beautiful!
Unless Elmo is even stupider than I thought he was – which is an almost impossibly low bar – at this point he’s just trolling for his Nazi white supremacist base.
I disagree. I don’t think he’s simply trolling for Nazi white supremacist likes. I think he is a Nazi white supremacist and is actively arguing for Nazi white supremacy.
Only a matter of time before he ‘accidentally’ places 14 and 88 next to each other in a twit ala RFK Jr.
What strikes me about Elmo is that he’s exceptionally gullible. He seems to have never developed the ability to distinguish truth from misinformation, and automatically credits anything he reads on Twitter as being more trustworthy than “legacy media”.
Coupled with his apartheid upbringing, it’s a recipe for deplorableness.
Australia’s online safety watchdog said on Monday it had fined X — the social media platform formerly known as — 610,500 Australian dollars ($385,000) for failing to fully explain how it tackled child sexual exploitation content. They’re also warning Google for the same thing. I’m pretty sure some of those jobs Elon cut were responsible for this sort of thing. Oh well. Musk’s a genius, he’ll figure it out. /s
He could always pull out the tried and true reverse Uno card like he did during submersiblegate.
Surely, no scam operation that bilks people out of millions will be able to afford (checks notes) $1 a year! Another masterful gambit on the part of our agile genius.
On the contrary, among countries known for producing thousands of bots, ranking near the top is…<checks notes, clears throat>…um, New Zealand?
New Zealand is just one of the most common places tech companies test new changes before rolling them out worldwide, it’s a pretty standard practice.
Oh, very interesting, why is that true of New Zealand (and presumably the Philippines)?
Smallish countries in a completely different timezone than the US, maybe.
English-speaking, tech savvy users in a small market where if something goes wrong, it doesn’t disrupt a company’s business too much.
Excellent, thank you. I have learned yet another thing here!
Reminds me a bit of the old Life cereal commercial. “Give it to Mikey!”
X may become ex-X in Europe.
