I’ve been rewatching “The Simpsons” and when the Canyonero commercial came on and it said “The only truck endorsed by a clown” my first thought was Musk. And then the “unexplained fires are a matter for the courts”, I literally LOLed and thought “My god, it IS the cybertruck!”
Or hide the preview window by clicking the << icon in the bottom-right corner before you post the link. Then you can create the post and it won’t give you an error unless the video has already been posted previously on the site. If it has, just add a #1 to the end of the URL, or if that was already done make it a #2, or #3, and so on.
Also handy if you post a YouTube embedded link then you need to edit it. Hide the preview pane, add to the end of any URLs for embedded videos (or increment the number), and save your edit.
They are stupid workarounds but necessary on this platform, and consistently work.

I can picture ads that extoll its other virtues: unbreakable windows that break, impractical stainless steel body that repels tommy-gun bullets in case you ever go back in time to the early 1930s and get into a gun battle with rum-running mobsters, and an overall design that is so incredibly, offensively ugly that your mind struggles to make sense of it. That’s our Elmo!
The Tesla Model S was actually quite an elegant looking car when it was first introduced, though it has since become a bit dated. I can only assume from this that Elmo left the major design decisions to competent minds, but has had a really major direct involvement in the design of the Cybertruck. The level of idiocy is usually a good indicator of how closely Elmo is involved.
Every time I see a picture of that thing it’s like I’m realizing for the first time how ugly it is.
It makes me think of when I had shop class in high school and realized the day before a project was due that I forgot to do it, and so just kind of half-assed it all in a half hour. It’s like that happened to someone, but they had to make a vehicle.
