I’d say the evidence is that whichever specific drugs Elmo is using in whatever ways he is (or has been) using them is certainly resulting in insane behavior now.
Until / unless he stops we won’t know if his mental condition is reversible.
John Lilly was not microdosing. He was doing massive doses. I’m not sure what his regimen was, but almost certainly it was mostly LSD.
I also don’t think it drove him insane. Eccentric, yes, many of the early LSD pioneers started off a bit weird, and embraced that (Timothy Leary, the Grateful Dead, Aldous Huxley etc) after using the chemical.
Would you care to cite your evidence? Wikipedia does not suggest Lilly was insane.
I mean, I’m quite a strange person but I am not insane, although I have taken LSD more than 100 times (lost count there!)
Musk says that ever since the Rogan toke, NASA has required him to take random drug tests. He says that in three years of being tested they’ve never found a thing.
When he was on Rogan, he said that he’d never tried pot before. Rogan convinced him to take a couple of puffs on a blunt, which is the picture everyone sees, and that was that. Then NASA freaked out about it, and he agreed to random drug tests.
I believe that about as much as I believe that WWE tests its main-eventers for steroids as often as it does the midcard guys. X-Pac never failed a drug test in WWE because he insisted that he’d only take one if Triple H had to take one at the same time, and sure enough he somehow got skipped every time the testers came around.
I hear they’re testing for birtherism. But it’s very hard to cure once acquired. And usually the signs and symptoms are pretty obvious. So it’s not clear the testing adds much diagnostic value.
@Sam_Stone: let’s say Musk is telling the truth. That just means he was clean for 3 years after he smokes on Seth Rogan. That just gets us to 2021. Most of the stuff he’s done that makes him seem like he’s losing touch with reality happened in 2022-2023.
In other words, he was clean then. But that doesn’t mean he is now. I believe he admitted to ketamine therapy, for depression. Drugs are tempting to the depressed.
This would have been just a few years after Vince McMahon nearly went to federal prison for providing steroids to his wrestlers, so the early days of their at least pretending to have a wellness policy. They’re a little more serious these days especially after the death of Eddie Guerrero, but it’s an open secret that the guys on the top get a pass - when UFC popped Brock Lesnar for taking estrogen blockers awhile back, WWE outright admitted they didn’t consider him a full-time wrestler and as such he wasn’t subject to their wellness policy.
Don’t know what they’re using as tires? Must be slicks just coming from the drag strip to set a new time record for electric trucks. Really, any decent winter tire should do great on the truck; AWD, plenty of weight, electronic traction control to meter the torque.
