Now that Elon Musk has bought Twitter - now the Pit edition (Part 1)

Taking LSD couldn’t make it any less interesting, for damned sure

Whoa!

Not me.

Samesies. Although mine does have off-road capabilities and a few times I year I actually do get it for-real dirty.

“The truck is the new urban SUV family vehicle” - Me.

I would never choose to own a truck. People would always be asking you to haul stuff around for them.

  1. Name something that exists, but isn’t real.
  2. Name something that is real, but doesn’t exist.

And this is why I have absolutely no problem with people who drive them! How else am I going to move large items around without paying for delivery?

A free lunch.

Hmmm. “Nothing” is real, but doesn’t exist.

Just getting all metaphysical.

I’m on another message board where thread titles are frequently edited to reflect updates on the topic or sometimes just trends in the thread conversation itself and the results are often hilarious and fantastic.

Which is not the same thing as saying it would work here. Different boards, different vibes.

I was on a board a long time ago (almost 30 years!) where users were allowed to edit titles.
One time there was a conversation that a user found uninteresting, so they edited the thread title to Mundane Pointless Stuff I Must Share.

It took on a long and happy life of its own until its recent demise.

IMO the biggest obstacle would be we’d need thread titles that ran to multiple paragraphs.

You could probably make dozens of posts like that. The part that cracks me up is his supporters - the same folks that raged about The Twitter Files and suppression by the Left are now all “Hey, it’s a private company, he can do what he wants.”

As Dirty Elmo might say:

Nuthin’ wrong with censorin’. 'Long as the right people get censored.

I’d actually think it might be a good sign for the future of his companies if it did turn out that he was heavily into drugs. That would mean that if he went to rehab and got straight he might be able to get things back on track. If it isn’t the drugs and all of it is just him, then that is a much harder problem to fix.

True. Although lotta folks who do the “drugs, then rehab” program also come out pretty much reduced from their pre-drug state. Plus of course possible subsequent relapse.

Musk will always be untrustworthy as to both genius capability and as to sobriety after he merges from some putative future rehab.

Kind of like Mike Lindell.

It’s really not.

You sound like someone who’d know.

Dosage matters.
