I don’t ever go on Twitter, but I do spend a lot of time on YouTube, and I keep getting, and blocking, MAGA PAC ads. Each time, YT tells me that I won’t see that ad again, but just like a bad penny, Eric Trump’s oh-so-punchable face keeps turning up.
I just block every single ad that I see on Twitter, regardless of content. It’s my way of ensuring that I only use the site in a way that causes Elmo to lose money.
Woah, I’ll stop complaining about the survivalist scam commercials I get regularly on YT.

If it turns out that Elmo is an illegal immigrant I will never, ever, stop laughing.
What’s the likelihood he winds up in Russia eventually? And if he does he’d have to know to stay on ground floors for the rest of his life, right?
The sad reality is that buying residency privileges (and, ultimately, citizenship) in industrialized countries is just how the world works. It’s often even formalized by set amounts of required investment in return for legal residency, but Elmo is obviously far, far beyond that sort of thing. No way Elmo is going anywhere.
On the contrary, the way wealth works in America in particular, Elmo may well end up in a very influential position in the federal government if Trump wins. He may well be the one doing the deporting, although it will probably be done by a more experienced Nazi like Stephen Miller heading up the new American Gestapo.
Musk’s citizenship is not in jeopardy. There is not a one in a million chance of this happening. People WANT it to be in jeopardy, but the United States of America is not throwing out a billionaire. This is a ridiculous story.
Hell, it’s wildly unlikely Musk would lose his citizenship if he WASN’T a billionaire; the government doesn’t have time to dredge through details like this from 20 years ago for mild offenses like people who worked during a student visa.
True. And really the whole deal of looking back to any transgression to exact this sort of revenge is what they would do.
Working while on a student visa is small potatoes, it’s not like he was learning to fly an airliner or something.
Far more concerning are his chats with Putin, a foreign contact. Not reporting that is automatic revocation of his security clearance. He was briefed on his responsibilities, he signed and initialed off about understanding what actions were prohibited or had to be reported. This is bog standard stuff, nothing esoteric or confusing. Sen. Menendez was bagged in part for unreported contacts and had his clearance removed awaiting trial.
There is, IMHO, a fairly significant chance that the entire reason Musk is suddenly in the bag for Trump is that he has committed espionage crimes, and needs Trump to pardon him.
So it’s pardons all around. Makes sense. Evil sense, but sense nevertheless.
Why would we do that to Canada?? 
Between this and Tucker Carlson suddenly rambling about demons attacking him in his sleep and abortion causing hurricanes, I get the impression that the professional grifting class has realized that white nationalism/Putinism is going to dry up in about 28 hours and that “spiritual warfare” is the next grift they’ve decided to bandwagon themselves onto.
Demon attack meaning waking up and scratches on his torso. So, clearly demons . . . certainly couldn’t have been from the dogs that were, according to him, also sleeping in the bed.
They’d probably be too polite to refuse.
Also, to get them back for being such uncooperative dicks in 1812.
It’s so weird… The US invaded Canada unsuccessfully, and the French invaded Russia unsuccessfully in 1812. Just not a good year for invasions.
At least we got a kick-ass Overture out of that mess.
