Interesting discussion on sea lions.
“Sealioning is a type of trolling or harassment that consists of pursuing people with relentless requests for evidence, often tangential or previously addressed, while maintaining a pretense of civility and sincerity (“I’m just trying to have a debate”), and feigning ignorance of the subject matter”.
But are they sure? I mean, the evidence is not clear! I’m just curious if you have any data to back up your conclusion. Are you willing to have a reasoned discussion?
I remember seeing the sea lion and orangutan show in Safari world, bangkok. The kids just loved it.
Never seen them in the wild though. I have been told they(sea lions) live mostly off the California coast. They seem like large seal like creatures but obviously they are not seals.
The modern political discourse amounts to people throwing bad-sounding buzzwords and good-sounding buzzwords back and forth at one another with no knowledge of what any of the terms actually mean or historically refer to.
But they sound bad or good, and that’s all it takes to move the masses of lemmings one way or the other. Or elicit a chorus of Yaay!s or Boo!s as the celeb/dictator’s ego desires.
The problem with National[ist] Socialism isn’t the “Socialism” bit; it’s the Nationalist part. This is a well-established and objectively irrefutable FACT (and I wish my fellow countrymen* had enough perspicacity to catch on to it).
*(and countrywomen. As counterintuitive as I find it to be, women have the capacity to be RWNJs, too. Although the way the planet has been trending of late, perhaps I should have just said EARTHLINGS.)
Oh, I’m pretty sure the MAGA crowd is actually just fine with National Socialism, just so long as the “Socialism” part is integral with the “National” part. The MAGA folks are fine with Social Security when it improves the lives of Americans. [sarcasm]The problem is when 90% of the benefits are paid[*] to “Illegals” who don’t deserve to be here, anyway.[/s]
[*] OK, they’ll admit that more than 90% of SS benefits go to Americans, not “illegals”, but the fact that ANY SS benefits[^] go to non-Americans proves the system is broken and cannot be fixed.
[^]OK, maybe SS benefits are not being paid to non-Americans, but they do receive benefits from somewhere. It would be better if those monies went to American Veterans[^*] who put their life on the line to protect this country instead of these “illegals”, who shouldn’t be here anyway.
[^*] Of course, it would be crazy to increase Veterans’ Benefits. There are plenty of jobs, if they don’t want to work, you can’t make 'em.
And the lies and inconsistencies continue for as far as you want to dig.
