Of course, recent reporting shows that the platforms rules DON’T actually bind if Musk chooses. I do wish that the EU would stop warning and start banning, since I suspect that that the changes of Musk actually abiding by their requirements are south of a snowballs chance in hell.
If Xitter is more or less stopped in the EU, it should help some of the other platforms (which have their own issues, but at least not Musk-issues) push forward towards enough of a critical mass to eventually supplant the now-rotting platform of Musk-holes.

Elon Musk’s xAI artificial intelligence firm has acquired Musk’s X, the social media outfit formerly known as Twitter for $33 billion, marking the latest twist in the billionaire’s rapid consolidation of power.
The all-stock deal announced on Friday combines two of Musk’s multiple portfolio companies, which also include automaker Tesla and SpaceX, and potentially eases Musk’s ability to train his AI model known as Grok.
