Now that Ricky is out, what celebrities "everybody knows" are gay remain?

Even though everybody suspects it, Evan Lysacek has never come out, has he?

And a wife (Talia Balsam, married 1989-1993), although people seem to forget about her.

Daughter of Martin Balsam and now the wife of John Slattery, whose wife she plays on Mad Men.

Speaking of, anything on Mad Men’s Vincent Kartheiser on the orientation front? Either way, everything I’ve read of him implies he’s a hyper-weird dude. (He makes excellent money but doesn’t own a car and lives in a house without insulation or a toilet- cite.)

Anthony Clark(best known for Yes, Dear), was not only openly gay but sometimes talked about his life and loves in his set back when he was doing standup in the Boston area and in gay clubs before he was famous. When he landed a role on a series, Boston Common, tabloids reported there were stipulations in his contract that he not perform in gay clubs or discuss being gay wherever he did standup. I don’t know if this carried over to the much more popular Yes, Dear, where he played a straight conservative married guy, but IRL he apparently is pretty much out. He isn’t famous enough/doesn’t do enough interviews for it really to be a public issue, but since I’m guessing his show had a conservative viewership (it being a particularly bland show about family without many serious plots or episodes) he’s a gay actor who probably flew under millions of radars who would probably have had a problem with his “lifestyle”.

Howard Stern … at the very least is bi-curious. It will be interesting after both his parents pass if has a big announcement to make.

Is coming out as bi really that big a thing? There’s almost no way I could believe he was gay. He gets too much obvious pleasure out of getting women to strip for him. I think he’s just kinky.

I think it is an open secret (in the UK acting circles that Spacey is gay. Stern not so much. The sooner more celebs who are gay come out the better for everyone of all persuasions.

I didn’t know that about Anthony Clark; I actually watched “Yes, Dear” back in the day.

Neil Patrick Harris is openly gay, and that hasn’t seemed to hurt his career. He’s quite convincing as heterosexual horndog Barney on “How I Met Your Mother,” he’s in the Harold & Kumar movies, and he hosts a boatload of awards shows nowadays.

He winks about the gay actor vs. horndog characters in Harold & Kumar Christmas. (Around 2:10.)

According to this link, among others, Drew Barrymore and Megan Mullally both claim to be bisexual.

Don’t have a cite right now, but I read a recent interview with him. He didn’t have insulation & a toilet in his house because it was being remodeled; so he lived in his guest house, which had all the necessary equipment. And he just gave up & bought a car.

That makes sense. The interview I read deliberately made it sound like he’s a nut who lives in a run down shack by choice.

Awesome.

Sorry but they are both good looking women (though Barrymore is way overrated I still would). Carry on.

A bump for Matt Bomer.

Never before have so many gay men moved at once as they faced their straight female friends and said, in unison, “Told you so.”

And a particularly gutsy and meaningful move considering he has a hot career, plays a hetero character, and is a sex symbol.

To which their straight female friends replied “Duh.”

I’m not even straight and I’ll still be first in line when Magic Mike opens, in which Bomer plays a male stripper alongside notable beefcake Channing Tatum.

This probably means very little, but Australian comic actress Magda Szubanski came out publicly today. Americans may know her as Mrs Hoggett from Babe and especially Babe II: Pig In The City, while others will know her from the original Australian Kath and Kim series.

That film sounds like nothing more than lowest common denominator garbage designed as an excuse to see two hot male celebrities with their clothes off, and I for one will be making damn sure I see it on opening night.

I thought he had been out for quite a while? I’m a straight guy with mediocre gaydar, and I even I knew that.

I was under the impression it was an open secret - he didn’t hide it but hadn’t really publicly been on record about it yet.

I agree. It seemed like they were almost funny enough for a chuckle, but, never quite up to the task.
