Are American service personal not innocent? Are Iraqis not innocent because they’re Iraqi?

I’m afraid I don’t understand the distinction. If a dingo keeps eating your babies it makes sense to pursue the short term goal of shooting the dingo, while also persuing long term changes such has building a dingo proof shelter.

I guess I just don’t understand, trying to look at it from their perspective I don’t see why a baby UHC would save is any less worthy of protection than a baby an abortion ban would save.

Do you have a cite for any babies that have died in America for lack of UHC?

Maybe it shouldn’t. If residency programs need subsidies in certain states, then the states should provide the money.

You can’t hold up the libertarian defense when the spending cut is so targetted. Its not about cutting spending or reducing the size of government (in fact it would probably take a dozen more federal workers to make sure that noone is teaching people how to perform abortions on the government dime), its about eliminating abortions.

At any rate, I still see no evidence of woman hating. *Roe *says that states can’t prevent women from getting abortions (under certain conditions). It doesn’t say that we all have to pay to make sure abortion doctors are available.

This isn’t a Roe issue. This isn’t about distinguishing the right to be free from government restrictions on abortion versus a god given right to abortions. This is about eliminating a medical procedure from medical training based on what can only be religious grounds. I can not see any other basis for this sort of legislation.

The SSS has been in place for a long time, as are the draft laws, and they were originally passed for reasons other than man hating. A scummy politician voting for an anti-abortion law is not necessarily a woman hater. They want to control the lives of men as much as they do for women. Even their ideas that limit women’s rights are a coverup for their goal of eliminating everybody’s rights and instituting a theocracy. This doesn’t make them woman haters. And some of them are just large sacks of shit wearing business suits, and couldn’t care less what the law was as long as they are better off for voting the way they do. And that doesn’t make them woman haters either.

Take a look at who has abortions, and who, therefore, endures the greatest impact of the ongoing litany of restrictions and barriers and cuts to access. This is an issue which only affects women, and disproportionately, by an order of magnitude, affects black, Hispanic and poor women.
