Now was this really necessary for us to know?

From the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal sports pages:
"Once the heart and soul of the Saints, an eager contributor to the community, an eight-year veteran and two-time Pro Bowl player and arguably the best player on the entire team, Johnson was let go in an ugly business move after last season.

Twenty-two NFL quarterbacks had felt his sack."

I really didn’t need to know that. What passes for journalism these days. Sheesh.

a man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do…

I feel really proud (as an English chap) to have both watched enough NFL and read enough American slang to fully get that joke.

Thank you, I’m here all week.

I guess there’s a statistic for everything these days…

Whatever happened to equal oppertunity?

::shudder::

I thought there was a 10-yard penalty for holding.

Correct me if I’m wrong or if the times have finally passed me by, but don’t you have to have at the very least, a semi-coherent understanding of what is and more importantly, what isn’t good grammer? Or have all of the journalism schools just said, “Fuck it,” and thrown up their hands? Seriously.

eeeeeeeewwwww.

That’s all I have to say. Terrible joke.
