Under Obama, gun sales skyrocketed and gun manufacturers and sellers profited bigly. Same with ammo manufacturers. Very little new gun control was enacted. NRA membership rose.

Under the new Republican president, gun sales dropped like a rock. Remington files for bankruptcy. New gun control measures are being talked about at the highest level. Walmart and Dick’s enact their own gun control. NRA looks like total dicks (well, they are).

Looks like the NRA political contributions have been going to the wrong party.

MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-op) and REI (Recreational Equipment, Inc.) are both retailers who sell high-end or designer outdoor and camping equipment, clothes, supplies, etc.

Vista Outdoor is a manufacturer, marketer, etc. of high-end or designer shooting and outdoor products.

A Delta Air Lines spokesman confirms only 13 members of the National Rifle Association bought discounted tickets using a perk later withdrawn by the airline following the school massacre in Florida.

Delta spokesman Trebor Banstetter said Friday the discounted fares had been available for a short time and were only for NRA members purchasing flights to the group’s 2018 convention in Dallas.
