You are an idiot. You are the idiot of idiots. If there were an idiot contest for all the idiotic idiots in the world, you would not be crowned supreme idiot–mainly because you are such an idiot that you wouldn’t even be able to find the idiot convention.
I don’t like windmills. They are big and scary looking. You all will have to use less electricity because we shouldn’t build these big and scary things that use technology that I don’t understand. My mom lets me use her computer.
They might have to fix the ones that are damaged. That just isn’t practical. That and the public can see which ones are damaged and it might cause a widespread panic and stampede as uninformed people flee their then worthless homes.
I saw the documentary on that, too - sometimes I just get tired of finding out how things actually are - it makes me want to buy property in the mountains and just disappear.
So far, there have been no fatalities from the nuclear reactor problems.
On the other hand, the Asahi Dam in the Fukushima prefecture failed, washing away numerous homes and killing at least 8 people. It wasn’t even a big dam - it was an irrigation dam, not a hydro dam. Imagine if Japan had had a large hydro dam in the area.
I wonder how many of the people repeating the nuclear hysteria have even heard of that dam or know that it collapsed?
You are correct. This is just way too much attention paid to a non problem.
Forget the reactors, people died in the earthquake and tsunamis. We have to stop them.
If you are not piling up an impressive death count, it just isn’t a problem at all.
Radiation death usually are not immediate. Therefore they do not count. Radiation in the food could impact children and pregnant women quickly. But if they don’t keel over ,they do not matter.
Dams, oil refinery fires, coal plant disasters, even 30,000 dead Japs doesn’t really bother the world. A possible radioactive disaster that will rain down plutonium on the northern hemisphere, that gets people worried.
