If this is not the correct forum, please move this. My Dr. wants to do nucleoplasty on my herniated disc. I’ve had 2 epidural steroid injections and I’m having another in 2 weeks, and if the 3d one doesn’t work, he wants to do the nucleoplasty.
It looks and sounds like a pretty cool procedure, and I've researched it on the internet, but most of the material Ive found has been by doctors who want to perform the procedure on you or from the companies that manufacture the stuff they use to do it, so I don't feel that I've gotten particularly objective info.
If you've had this procedure done, or know someone who has, or if you're one of the medical professionals on the SDMB and know anything about it, I'd sure love to hear what your experiences with it are. And also how you convinced your *$(#* insurance company to cover it.
