In reference to Shakespeare and the King James Bible – I enjoyed mentioning Gardner’s “46” discovery when teaching Shakespeare, but I never cited it as evidence. Alas, one year I looked up the Tyndale translation of the Bible (a predecessor of the KJV, long before Shakespeare), and guess what? The same 46 coincidence appears. So much for that theory!
I think thiswas the column.
There’s an entire book in The Bible about numbers titled “Numbers” … 74,600 seems a particularly important one to boot …only slightly larger than 42[sup]3[/sup] …
I’m sticking with 69,105.
Give me 144,000 any day …
Hundredths of a minute?
Isn’t that gross a thousand times over?
8,675,309
Yeah, I’ve got your number.
That’s an end-times prophecy regarding 12,000 people from each of the 12 tribes of Israel. See Revelation ch. 7.
Had to look that one up. Number of men in Tribe of Judah.
Thanks for that. Cute one, watchwolf49.
I see what you did there.
