NY AG Letitia James drops the (civil) hammer {On Trump & Family} [9/21/2022]

No one expected Trump to smash in windows at the Capitol. But it happened, like he wanted. Time to stop treating this man like a child.

So you have one of your trash minions post something inflammatory in their burner account. Next you reX, like, forward, fart out the post. Claim, “It wasn’t me!, It wasn’t me!” Of course, you, as the big cheese, reach billions (more than North Korea) of readers. Easy peasy.

I have a dream that one day this country will have the bravery to hold Donald freaking Trump responsible for…anything. A fella can dream, right?

There are over 90 charges against him. NY here is not criminal but seems a slam dunk.

Georgia looks bad for trump.

Then there are the 4 charges regarding Jan 6.

These things take time.

However- the records case may be delayed by a corrupt Judge for a long time.

Yup. Keep me posted.

He’s being destroyed financially, he was already found liable for civil fraud and lost the license to run his company in his home state. So, go pop some champagne?

The consequences for the initial fraud ruling, which included placing his “businesses” in receivership, have been stayed, pending appeal. The longer he can drag things out, the less likely he is to ever be held accountable, for much of anything.

I don’t believe that has been settled.
I’ll pop some champagne when the motherfucker is actually, in reality, with consequences held accountable.
Until then, I’ll believe it when I see it.

Yep. He’s going to skate. He might even become President again.

He might become TFG in the WH again. “President” is being generous.

And that’s the case that was considered open and shut, a slam drunk, a clear reading of the law and the evidence offered no wiggle room. Guilty. Easy peasy.

The appeal isn’t going anywhere.

He’s not invincible, regardless of what you might believe.

Not just a person. A former president with millions of followers who believe his every utterance.

Sharing a post like this has the real – if remote – potential of spurring one of those followers to forcibly detain a prosecutor and/or judge. No, it’s not a crime – yet. But it’s skating right up to the line, and I don’t think it’s unrealistic that he be disciplined for it.

I agree, that’s what I’ve been saying as well. While not a crime, I hope this has consequences in this trial in regards to sanctions from the judge.

I’m not sure quite why he isn’t before the bench as we speak. It certainly doesn’t need to be a crime to invoke sanctions.

I hope the reverberations penetrate to the other judges in his other upcoming trials, and they realize they have to keep Trump on a VERY short leash. In his upcoming criminal trials there will be more scope for quicker sanctions.

True. At the least, the Judge could order Trump to appear before him and explain just exactly what he meant by the comment.
(Edit) And… Invite Trump to attempt a so called “citizen’s arrest” right then and there.

Exactly. He’s such a weakling, he’s always suggesting other people take action on his behalf. Here is one case where he can take the very action he is suggesting/endorsing. Go ahead, try it! What could happen??

Yeh, why not? After all, all those “Sir” court officers with tears in their eyes at his mistreatment will surely back him up.

I see on Meidastouch that they’ve filed their motion for mistrial, based on their assertion that the clerk is “co-judging” and a democrat. This should go well for them.

Let us take an extreme example- “We are gonna burn down that damn N****r church at midnite and burn a cross, bring gas, and spread the word”. Spreading that is criminal conspiracy.
