Most of you have heard about Mnem’s troubles getting the van…

Here’s a solution for the Montreal/Ottawa contingent - if someone books a vehicle through a company called Rent-A-Wreck (Auto-Casion Inc. in Quebec), we should be able to make it down to NYC intact and at a good rate. RAW rents to students and people under 25, so long as they have insurance and proof of insurance.

I’d do it myself, but unfortunately, I can’t drive at night so my insurance isn’t accepted by RAW and other rental agencies.

Who was supposed to be travelling with Mnem? Who is still SOL? Laur? Daerlyn? Scottevil?

Can we figure this out?

matt - can you drive? If you have a valid DL and insurance, you can rent the vehicle…

If we have other drivers along, potentially including Mne, we could do this…

I’m still sticking with my original plan to take the bus to Burlington and drive down Friday morning with Eonwe and andygirl.

The SOLers are SOL no more. I found a van. The Canadian Contingient is on.

I ended up having to fly anyway because of work… but I know that LaurAnge, matt_mcl, Daerlyn and Daerlyn’s roomie will be tickled PINK!
