NYC on a Saturday morning

I’m planning on being in the NYC area this weekend and would like to go in when there is very little traffic. I know on Sunday morning even the cabs are asleep. What’s the place like on a Saturday morning? I’m not planning on staying long so the lack of traffic will really help.

So how is the traffic on a Sat morning? Or would it just be wiser to come in on Sunday?

from what i can remember things are fairly quiet until about 11ish, 12ish.

Sunday morning’s are a lot better than Saturday mornings.

Maybe so, but Sunday afternoon is a NIGHTMARE.

Why not park on the NJ side in the Liberty Park area and take a water taxi across to Battery Park?
