Actually, no. I just came here to correct that.
Two good medieval words that aren’t accepted: UNCIAL today and VILLEIN a few days ago
And I have an Italian song earworm because of today’s FUNICULA , also not accepted
One point away from a natural QB and have no idea of what the final word is. Tried many 4-letter combinations without success. Driving me crazy.
ETA: found it!
Same, and same.
Third.
Okay, so did you all have the same final four-letter word? (Don’t forget to use blur spoiler.)
Probably not, but mine was GURU .
That one is on my mental list of words that always trip me up. Also on the list, ACAI, TIARA, LANAI, IGLOO. When I’m close, I always consult this list to make sure I didn’t miss something obvious. About 50% of the time that gets me to QB.
Today my final word was GRITTILY, which I was sure I had already entered.
It helps to remember that ACAI and ACASIA always go together.
My last was TRIG
I remember that about half the time. That’s how the berry ended up on my list.
I think you mean ACACIA.
Of course. Thanks
My last word was girt.
And mine was GLUG.
For the first time, I noticed that the Spelling Bee Forum page lets you suggest a word for inclusion. (“Every Spelling Bee puzzle is hand-curated with a wide-ranging audience in mind. Is there a word you want to see included in the hive? Fill out the form here.”) Is this new?
Okay, admit it, you tried WANKING or WANK .
It’s not.
I was trying for Panagram 4, Awankening
Thanks. I must not have noticed that earlier.
Might want to spoiler the number there.
