I’m sure this was mentioned before but million and millionth are fine, as is nonillion, but not nonillionth. Annoying.
Today is the first puzzle that I recall with only one vowel (this includes Y as a vowel).
It’s happened before. But always where the vowel is an I and there’s usually an N and G to make for a lot of -ING words. Today was the first I can remember where the vowel is an A.

I tried that too. Maybe it’s too much of a slang word? But, then explain the other slang he allows. Mysterious.

ENOKI? Really? I only got it by finding the first two letters from SBB, and then trying random additional letters.

I knew the mushroom. I was hesitant about trying it but I remembered that Sam loves obscure food references.
I discovered that there’s a German version of the spelling bee called Wortify. Because gender grammar creates a lot of different endings for nouns and adjectives, the point totals are much higher if say there’s an E. But I made level six of nine today, guru! Still no pangram today though.
It’s often a little odd which words are accepted and which are not. Today, for instance, burrata (name of an Italian cheese) was one of the accepted words while batard (name of a French bread) was not.
So, no ADIABATIC? They need an editor with a few technical chops.
