I’m impressed. Because I don’t think I’ve ever seen the word homonymy.
We had it a while ago. And the omitted word is still omitted.
I remember that word coming up in a prior Spelling Bee puzzle.
My memory, like my stamina, is weak.
Remembering repeated words may be contributing to my improved performance.
I mean, I always try it, because you know, food.
GAMMON was accepted twice and has now been disallowed twice.
I had a hard time with today’s edition, especially with three words that had been disallowed in the past: KENTE, LITTLENECK and NETLIKE.
Why no love for Tektite - Wikipedia today? And no Necklet - Wikipedia either (spoilering because it’s close to accepted words)
And I tried both GAMMON and HOGMANAY too.
Today was a slog. I got Genius with half an hour to spare. 59 words.
Fairly easy one today. Took me a while to get the final word TUTTI and it’s not the first tiime that particular word was a difficult last word.
Fairly easy for me as well. The last couple of words were the eight letter ones.
Genius was really fast. Might go for QB later, it’s not a lot of words.
(might not)
Spoiler for something like this next time please.
Thats the one I came here to mention.
Sorry. I didn’t think I was spoilering anything
Not a big deal in the scheme of things but I now know that there are two words of that length to find. I hit Genius without them but am still trying for QB.
I work from the Spelling Bee Buddy, so for me, knowing the word length is not a spoiler. And I try to systematically finish each starting letter.
I did the buddy for two or three weeks but eventually decided that it’s more enjoyable for me to play without it. I typically got QB with Buddy. Without I almost always get Genius and have gotten two QBs.
Yeah, I also use no hints/clues, and didn’t know about the 8-letter words. Not a major spoiler, but a spoiler for me.
