Oakland BART Mehserle trial gone to jury - how would you vote?

The trial that resulted from the occurrence discussed in this thread has concluded and gone to the jury.

Here is what seems to be a fairly unbiased summary of the two sides in the trial. Given this, if you were a juror, how would you vote.

I think I would vote for involuntary manslaugher. It’s pretty clear to me that it he was not intending to shoot this man (given the circumstances that would have been ludicrously stupid) but it was appalling carelessness on his part, so Not Guilty is not an option.

Not sure, especially because I’m not positive on the exact requirements south of the border for each of those crimes, but voluntary manslaughter has the right “feel” for me, assuming that is a balanced, true account. 2nd degree murder seems a bit much, but it seems rather farfetched that the cop didn’t know what he was doing.
