And some of them just support Israel because they respect a country that can beat back seven different Arab nations, all outnumbering them by an enormous factor, in just six days; they admire a country with the best air force and some of the best special forces in the world; they admire a people that managed to rise out of the ashes of the Holocaust and literally make a desert bloom. There doesn’t need to be some ulterior motive for liking Israel.
Liking “the Jews” is not really the same as liking Israel; I suspect most of these people dislike most American Jews because most American Jews are left-leaning. But I don’t think they dislike them because they’re Jews.
Not even a little bit. Still waiting to hear back from my friends in Law Enforcement and my military brother on if they’ve even heard of this bunch of knuckle dragging idiots.
Why are you asking that question if you don’t think they should have been around? BTW I thought the 20 minute video called “No Guns For Negroes” which is a pro-black gun rights video by the JPFO was quite intelligent rather than being the product of “idiots”.
Care to address their assertion that they will refuse to follow the law and their direct orders in the event of an insurrectionist attempt to violate federal law and “secede” from the US?
Because that fight has been done and lost. And any state attempting to secede would be in violation of Federal Law.
And I ask the question not because I think they SHOULD have been around. I’m asking it more rhetorically because it’s funny that they suddenly show up right after Obama wins the presidency, before he has had any chance to make ANY changes.
Well, it stinks of crazy, but not necessarily of racism. The militia movement has a ways to go before it catches up with its Clinton-era self.
Of course, considering the Oklahoma City bombing, and the way the feds managed to screw up the Ruby Creek and Waco standoffs, let’s hope it doesn’t catch up.
(my bolding) Those are all taken from the comments attached to one article.
I presume you know what the New World Order is supposed to be. The Turner Diaries, in case you didn’t know, are a blueprint for a race war in which all nonwhites and Jews are exterminated, presented in the form of a novel.
Actually, I’ve never been clear on that. Hitler called for a “New Order,” but his vision along those lines died with him. The phrase “New World Order” first entered modern mass consciousness, it seems, when Bush Sr. spoke of it in the wake of the Soviet Union’s collapse; clearly he meant the same thing Francis Fukuyama did by “The End of History,” i.e., the ultimate and final prevalence of Western capitalism/democracy as the dominant model for all the world, combined with beneficent economic globalization. (Those were some optimistic days . . .) But despite those origins, RW conspiracy theorists seem to equate the “NWO” with what John Birchers in the '50s and '60s meant by “Communism” and “One-Worldism.” It’s rather confusing.
Well, it’s also crazy right-winger code for Masonic one-world government, and sometimes they think it’s the Bilderberg Group or the Trilateral Commission, but usually they think the Jews are behind it somehow.
If you haven’t read Them by Jon Ronson you should - he’s the same guy who wrote The Men Who Stare At Goats, which the upcoming movie is based on. Basically, he interviews all sorts of crazy right-wing types- militiamen, the Aryan Nations, Alex Jones - and some crazy Islamic fundamentalist types (immediately prior to 9/11) and discovers that they basically all believe that the Jews are trying to create a one-world government presided over by a shadowy cabal.
He also interviews Ian Paisley, a Northern Irish loyalist minister and paramilitary leader, who thinks the Pope is behind it. Oh, and David Icke, who thinks shapeshifting alien lizards from another dimension are behind it.
If any are clearly racist then if they are made aware of them they should remove them. Those comments have been there for less than 2 weeks though. But anyway I’ll bring your post to the attention of the site… (to the webmaster)
Kind of related to that are “ethnic bioweapons”:
But anyway see my earlier quotes where it says the organisation only hates tyranny and
“We are Not advocating or promoting any act or acts of aggression against any organization or person for any reason including, but not limited to; race, religion, national origin, political affiliation, gender or sexual orientation.”
“…if the Zionist controlled alternative media (Alex Jones + others) weren’t in place.”
“THE SIMMERING CONTROVERSY OF ALEX ‘BULLHORN’ JONES being a Zionist shill and de facto Zionist agent and spin meister”
http://iamthewitness.com/audio/Alex.Jones/index.php
“There is only one explanation for Alex Jones and his Zionist Denial: he is a Zionist, and his organization in Austin, Texas is a Zionist terrorist cell.”
JohnClay is correct. Those comments are just comments. Anti-Semites will always bull their way onto the comments section of any news article and try to hijack it by making it all about Da Jooz. But that doesn’t mean those comments are endorsed by the website providing the content.
Of course, Jack Chick has proven that all of them (including the Pope) are merely puppets of the Jesuit General. Who, I suppose, reports directly to Satan.
I don’t like the no-fly lists, but they’re not unconstitutional. Besides, refusing to enforce the no-fly lists is not on the Oath Keepers’ list of oaths.
yeah… I said “or something that the organisation covers”… but anyway, I want to promote civil liberties in general in the U.S. and the oathkeepers ties into that a bit.
