No Lama that being a self appointed voice for a minority population only is no way to get elected President of a whole country. A President has to represent all of us … or at least a majority of those who vote (… with caveats for electoral college overweighting :)).
A candidate can be Black or White, Morman or possibly even Jewish … what matters more is that the values espoused resonate with enough of the voters across the country, that voters believe that the candidate believes in those values espoused, and that voters believe that the candidate can effectively lead and implement those values.
