Just a passing observation: If I need to make reality reflect my own understanding of Truth, I do need labels. I also need to convince people that labels that refract reality in a certain direction - towards my Truth - are better than no labels at all.

He doesn’t want you going back to his sources. You might reach different conclusions than he did. He wants you to accept those “musings” at face value.
As I may have said earlier, he’s big on revealed wisdom. I would suppose he doesn’t think to list his sources because they are ‘right’ and therefore self-evident.
