The “Hitler was elected!” meme repeaters also don’t seem to know that Hindenburg and other prominent pre1933 politicians having opposition candidates (particularly Communists) arrested and or beaten helped even the playing field a tad also, or that Germany didn’t exactly go from “peaceful First World happy country” to dictatorship overnight. I also somehow doubt Hitler was ever accused of being an elitist or a social liberal.

He was asked a question about how should the US respond to the situation in Darfur, which he answered by saying that we have to “protect ourselves from our enemies in the mideast.”
During a trip to Washington DC where I met with an aide of John Linder, who told me and a group of students that Linder believed that increased incidence of autism and asthma was caused by “decreased pollution”. We in Georgia got some reel stoopid representation in congress. Broun isn’t even the least of our troubles.
