Obama is now Open for Questions

This is the change you have been waiting for! Obama’s transition team is now using Google Moderator on change.gov to power the Open for Questions application. You can vote on other questions and submit your own questions. The transition team will answer the most popular ones each week.

Challenge: Vote on 100 questions and submit 1.

My question was: “The proposed volunteer corps appear to require retraining. What will you do to more generally put Americans in need in touch with Americans who already have the skills to fill that need and are willing to volunteer?”

Holy smokes, a LOT of people want to know about de-criminalizing marijuana! That question comes up at least 2 times out of every 10 questions.

I voted on 8. I don’t think I have the patience to read through enough to inspire me to vote for 100. No questions come to mind at the moment.

Legalizing weed can’t be good for the economy. How would we (not to mention Obama!) ever get anything done??

“I didn’t pass universal health care because I was high. I forgot about immigration reform too, because I was high. Now China’s on the up and up, and I know why…”

I just read a really stupid question that said something like, “Now that Palin’s family has been raked over the coals, even the minors, are you going to do something about your poor half-brother that you have not helped?” or some similar B.S…yeah, I guess he’s going to get those too—freedom of speech and all…

Yeah, I hate it when people exercise their freedom of speech when it’s inconsistent with my views.

Outstanding!
