Obama, The Weasel!

:stuck_out_tongue: Nice response.

Is this another “One side is just as bad as the other side!” thread?
Rather than doing this over and over and over, adhay, why don’t you just give us positive reasons to vote Libertarian?

He’s still trying to think of one.

Well to be fair, we’d have to say how it seems to you how the posters are receiving it.

No, I made a mistake voting at all and won’t bother to again. No mea culpa here. IMHO, IMM is right for the wrong reasons and I was wrong for the right reasons. But then, who am I to judge?

Well, they’re not Nader.

In that case, who gives a shit what you think about politics? If you can’t even bother to back up your opinions with the simple act of wandering down to your polling place every other November to vote for the politician whose views are closest to yours, then your opinions are not worth the phospor dots they’re written on.

So, because Obama has been less than perfect, you abdicate your vote for your local city council? Board of Education? Municipal Boards? State Legislator? Governor? Sheriff? Judges? State University Boards?

Way to go, skippy. You’re an American we can all be proud of. I’m so glad so many worked so hard, sacrificed their lives even so that you can be a petulant baby.

Man, that kind of attitude pisses me off.

(Psst… you can leave the box for President blank.)

So…what’s so bad about ACORN?

For someone who is 69 years old, you’re shockingly naive.

You don’t want a President, you want a saint.

Don’t speak disrespectfully of weaseling. That’s what separates us from the animals! Well, except for weasels . . .

And thank Christ for that. The last thing we need is more whiney crybabies like you voting. Adults only, please.

The notion that the Republicans and the Democrats are absolutely equal when it comes to competence, trustworthiness etc. must be the main plank in the Libertarian platform because it is almost always the first thing they bring up.

By George, I think he’s got it!

Was what happened to the Armenians genocide? If it was then call it that. Who cares what the people who perpetrated it think of you because you speak the truth? It is their problem if they take offense at it.
Maybe if more politicians spoke the truth then citizens wouldn’t hold such a low opinion of them.

Unfortunately, when the people who would be offended have things you want and need, it’s not that simple.

I know this is an almost comic exaggeration, but suppose Turkey threatened war if American politicians made the statement. Would making it still be the right thing to do, then?

pdts

I voted for him because I wanted to see people lose their minds over having a black man in the White House, and watch them dream up ways to pretend that’s not why they’re losing their minds.

I am satisfied.

Well, he could have at least demanded that all the Turks responsible should be arrested and sent to the Hague for trial.

You see, its not that Barry wants to express American surrender to the Japanese Emperor by bowing, its about the very tricky elections coming up that may affect American bases in Japan, and sucking up to their Emperor cops huge brownie points at no cost.

And its not that the Armenian genocide wasn’t awful, but they are all dead, and nothing Barry can do will change that, and the Turks are an ally already inclined to be a bit stiff with us.

A lot of times, its the international equivalent of “No, of course it doesn’t make your butt look big, it looks svelte and slinky!” And if he wasn’t willing and able to do that sort of thing, he would never have been elected to anything worth hearing about.

And GeeDubya probably thinks Armenia is a little town outside of Lubbock.

Hey, don’t blame me. I voted for Kodos.

What they have and we want doesn’t matter. Tell the damn truth! Sucks to be those who can’t handle it.

If someone had a gun to my head and told me to say black was white, I’d do it. Is that a white lie? Heh.
It doesn’t change the colour of black or white, though. People respect those who tell the truth and find it hard to respect those who don’t. I find it hard to respect those who only tell the truth when it furthers their interest, also.
