And if the two sisters are visiting on the phone and catching up like they do every Sunday afternoon, the call won’t get through anyway.

Like I said.
The election isn’t until November and even the convention is a while off. I figure I’ll find out in plenty of time.
I did, I did! But I bet everybody could’ve guessed that.
Doesn’t the convention start in 4 days?
And it won’t be in the news before then?
And it’s not like I have any control of it anyway. I’ll watch what happens, and when the time comes, I’ll vote. No hurry.
I don’t really care who Obama picks, but I peeked into this thread thinking you might be talking about this:
They should have seen this coming.
This is getting ridiculous.
That’s it; I’m voting for McCain.
After contemplating for 30 seconds a McCain presidency, I’m squarely back on the Obama side of things.
It is getting obnoxious. If they wait until tomorrow, I’m going to be really pissed off. Whoever’s idea it was to try to sit on this and game the news cycle should be fired from the campaign. All it’s doing is irking the shit out of supporters.
I don’t know about that. It’s mostly pins and needles as far as I can tell. There’s definitely buzz and a level of excitement.
Personally, I’d like to see it get over with, but I appreciate the drama.
I’m kind of with Dio on this one. Anticipation and drama is fun to a point, but at this point, I feel like we’ve been waiting so long that the actual announcement will be anticlimactic no matter who is chosen.
CNN seems to think it’s happening today, but what do they know?
Get it over with all ready, I say!
Yes and no. For the ones that drama has already left, it’ll be shoved back down your throat by the news media. For the ones that are still on pins and needles, you’ll have it shoved down your throat by the news media.
So, we can assume that whoever the choice is has been away from his phone all day, and just hasn’t yet checked his messages?
COME ON YOU FUCKERS! ANNOUNCE THIS SHIT ALREADY!
I think the waiting game has given media attention to a lot of unknown Democrats. This is a good thing for the party.
What, these people didn’t know they hadn’t signed up to get the message, nor realized it wasn’t forwarded from somebody they know?
I signed up just for the heck of it but I’m not on pins and needles nor pissed (and about to change who I vote for) because they haven’t announced. I don’t think anybody else will either so their plan is working – keep everybody talking about Obama. Even the fake text message keeps everybody talking about – wait for it – Obama.
Is it just me, or did McCain squander a golden opportunity by not announcing his pick while we’re all waiting for Obama? He could’ve had everyone’s attention focused on him for a change, rather than letting Obama continue to be the center.
Don’t know how true it is but I’ve seen speculation that he’s going to make his choice depending on who Obama picks.
I guess it’s moot, now that Biden being the pick has been announced before the text message went out.
