No that would be me projectile vomiting.
electoral-vote.net makes an interesting point, in that should it come to super delegates: a vote can be defended in any of these four ways-
- I am voting for the person who got the most votes nationally
- I am voting for the person who got the most delegates nationally
- I am voting for the person who won my state
- I am voting for the person who won my congressional district
So, if Hillary falls in one category and Obama falls in another… the super delegate can defend their pick, whomever they elect. Should the same person fall under all four, it would be difficult for the super delegate to elect opposite and still defend their decision.
If Hillary wins the “Big 3” at this point (PA, OH, TX) they’ll be essentially tied again. It’ll be curious to see if anybody tallies up the actual popular vote numbers (not delegates) to see how the actual voting falls by sheer numbers.
Either way- I AM STILL VOTING IN NOVEMBER. To not do so because my candidate lost in the primary election seems overly bitter. The final 2, may or may not include my first choice(It won’t, BTW), but I won’t pass the chance to still do my own little part in trying to elect the best of the remaining choices. I can only do so much to direct the course of this country and that ballot is one of them.
